LA Boxing Power Move

LA

It feels great to not be sick and back in the gym! A week was enough time for me to get better but I noticed a decrease in my fitness right away.

It is important to ease back into a workout plan after you take someone time off. This is key for when you are sick because your body is still trying to recover.

In a typical LA Boxing class you will alternate between boxing and agility moves. My instructor Greg had us do 180 degree jump turns in between boxing!

Key things to note:

  • Pay attention to your landing, your knees should not go past the front of your toes.
  • Also, make a firm landing. Your heels should be flat on the ground.

Greg had us do as many as we could for 90 seconds. I was feeling this for sure!

How many can you do?

Oooh, squat jumps are so intense. But effective! Glad you’re feeling better :)
