Pizza Face

When my siblings and I were younger, our cousins who lived in NJ would come down for visits.

They were only a few years older but we would all have a blast playing- we turned my basement into fake office (we would literality wipe out all the forms we saw sitting in a bank or post office). We could spend hours scribbling over these various forms.

That fake office would turn into a grocery store and we would “toot” out each others purchases.

In between all of this we managed to trade stickers. We were busy!

But the best childhood game played has to be pizza face!

My mom loved making homemade pizza for all of us, it was easy and delicious, plus we needed a break from all that office work we were doing.

Every time we ate pizza my little brother would always have some sauce smeared on his face. And so he became pizza face.

We would all scream “PIZZA FACE” and run away from him so that we would not get tagged.

And my brother aka Pizza Face would try and chase us. For some reason we would  all try and hide behind the curtains.

I am surprised they don’t have any red stains on them from epic games of pizza face.

For only .99 cents you too can grab some pre-made dough and have your own game of pizza face!

Oh I just loved hearing a little bit more about your childhood. It warmed my heart. I adore homemade pizza. I want to make some tonight, now. Thanks for sharing, sweet girl!

Speaking of Pizza and Faces…. A college roomate of mine told me a story about her and her sister as kids and how they were convinced their troll dolls were “real” and obviously came to life at night while everyone was sleeping. One night after having pizza for dinner, they brainstrormed that if they dabbed some pizza sauce on the troll’s nose, he wouldn’t be able to resist licking it off in the night when he came “alive” and then they would know for sure that he was “real”.

She could barely get the story out because she was laughing so hard! Its so funny to think of the games we played as kids!
