It is officially tennis season in the Howard County area! aka the best time of the year, yesterday we went to watch my sister’s first tennis match of the season. She has another one today, but it looks cold and gross out soooo I am going to be supportive and stay home!
She is a beast! My sister played well, and they could have easily won, but such is life.
My siblings and I played tennis for 4 years in high school and my parents came to every match that we played!
Me, my mom and my brother ( he is in his 2nd year of college)
Sibling pic! I am not short…. just fun sized…
My sister’s friends who met me for the first time and were like “she is soo tiny” (I am four years older than my sister and two years older than my brother)
I come from a pretty tall family and I am the midget child coming in at 5’2”
This is what we REALLY look like!
Classic.
My poor parents who have to deal with all of us!
Today is their 25th wedding anniversary! Fun fact about my parents, they had an arranged marriage, my dad is fluent in Russian and my mom also went to the same college as I did!
We have fun plans tonight! I am cooking dinner and we have dessert!
Post tennis we headed to Starbucks for an afternoon treat!
I got the skinny vanilla decaf (caffeine makes me sick to my stomach) latte it was gone in less than 5 sips, so I enjoyed the ice.
We split the lemon square, it was sticky but good.
We enjoyed sbizzle’s smoke filled outdoor patio for our drinks and dessert!
My copy cat mom, enjoyed last night’s dinner that I made soooo much she remade it with chicken instead of tofu. I have to say as a meat eater I liked the tofu better!
Tj’s General Tso’s sauce we love you.

Happy Anniversary to your parents!! My parents celebrated their 25th two summers ago. Although they didn’t know they would be married at the time, they were both baptized in my church on the same day! A very cool fact… I have a crazy family, too..so no worries. Maybe that’s why we get along so well. :)
Happy anniversary to your parents! I’d love to hear more about their arranged marriage:)
I always wanted to play tennis. I tried taking a class at the local community college but I just couldn’t find my tennis groove. Your family is way tall. I didn’t realize you were heightly challenged. You look really tall in your pictures.
Such a cute family! I also played varsity tennis in high school and you can bet my Mama was at all my matches! Oh and my parents actually met at the college I go to now- so there’s a family legacy ;)
Your family seems like so much fun! 25 years is a lot! My parents have been married for 30… whoa! I’m “un-sized” as well, about 5’2″ or sometimes I”ll say 5’3″ if I feel like being generous with myself.
Also, the cake looked awesome! Totally gave me a sweet tooth.
