All My Friends Graduated Without Me

And I could not be more proud, my college graduation would have been on Monday. But due to my college struggles, I sat and watched from the stands at 1st Mariner Arena as my classmates turned their tassels and entered their future.

I shed a tear or two, not out of sadness, but with an overwhelming feeling of emotion of what it really means to graduate college.

It’s something I want for myself and I just don’t know how to get myself across the stage.

Soo many proud graduates!

I left graduation, knowing that I would too have this moment, sometime soon (hopefully in 5 months)

What better way to celebrated a monumental accomplishment? With food!

In the past 6 days I have spent 4 of them in Baltimore, and I am falling more and more in love with this city.

We had dinner at Captain James and started off with some crab dip!

I started off with some crab cakes, and I was only able to finish 3/4ths of them.

We all go our nom on!

Baltimore is amazing, we even saw the Pride of Baltimore 2 sail by, apparently this does not happen as often.

We all enjoyed this view from on top of the restaurant, which was a ship, too much fun!

I of course, had my own photo shoot.

For dessert we headed over to Vaccaro’s- Italian Pastry? YES!

I wanted one of everything but I managed to contain myself..

I ordered a cannoli, my first one! My cannoli getting stuffed…

Holy cannoli!

This would be the mini cannoli, the “diet” version.

Holy yummies. I am so glad that instead of spending graduation day being sad, I was happy to celebrate with my friends!

I love me some cannolis! I grew up with some Italians on my mom’s side and they are VERY SERIOUS when it comes to pastries!

  4. It took me five years to graduate. It’s more common than you think :)

I love purple on you! I graduated college a semester late too. My twin sister was able to graduate on time in the spring at her school, and it was weird, for once, not having similarly timed milestones! We all have our own paths and milestones. Do your thing, Sana!
