I am oddly behind on blogging, I feel like I have have so much to talk about what I did on Wednesday and I am shocked that today is Friday…..
Time is just moving by too quickly, either way Wednesday was awesome. I decided to go on a two mile run at 2pm after waiting like 4 hours post breakfast.
Did I mention I was smart?
It was also 77 degrees outside.
Bahaha, yeah I don’t look like I had any fun on this attempt at running.
I jogged about 1.3 miles and I just felt icky, hot, weak and just ick. So I walked home.
The walking part was awesome sauceeeee.
Sometimes I do feel uncomfortable about posting a slow jog/walk time on my blog, but oh well. Slow or not, I am still going outside to do something awesome for my body!
Sometimes it is disappointing to have to walk home, however not every run is going to be amazing. Some will be sucky, some will have you stopping and walking a lot.
But they DO get better, I know I CAN run 2 miles, some day’s it is just a lot harder and slower than others.
Sometimes it will just take you 10 minutes longer than your fastest time. For some reason I just like my runs to be perfect.
I need to wear the right outfit, I need a supportive bra, I need good tunes, I need my garmin.
Not all runs need to be perfect, the imperfect runs can still count for something.
After chugging some water, I snacked on some baked talipia and cats-up and called it a lunch.
Something about the heat makes me oddly full……
Wednesday was also awesome because I went to my first baseball game. Ever…..
Baseball just seems like the all-American thing to do, and I had never really felt any interest in going but I ended up having a really good time!
Since I had never even watched a baseball game it was nice to have some friends to explain all the rules and to point out all the hotties on the field…
It did not hurt that we had front row seats either, ballerrrrrr
Safe to say that I won’t be a die-hard baseball fan anyyyytime soon, but on a breezy early summer day catching a baseball game is not so bad.
It did not hurt that the O’s won 9-2.
Have you been to a baseball game before? What do you learn from imperfect runs?

I’ve been to quite a few Orioles games, back when I lived up in N. VA :) So much fun! As for the running- hey, at least you got out there. Lately, I’m barely doing that!
I’ve never been to a major league baseball game, only minor league. Still fun though.
You’re right, many runs are quite sucky. What’s up with that?
Running is either all or nothing, no in between!
Good on you for actually running! Times do not matter if you are working to your ability. I just can’t run. Every time I try to take it up something starts playing up – knee, hip, lower back. I think I’m not made for it. Yoga however… yusss.
I am starting yoga this weeek!!!
I’m from Boston and LOVE the Red Sox! Games are such a blast.
You shouldn’t compare your workouts to other bloggers. You are you and your best is YOUR best. Even if it’s a bad day, everyone has them. The important thing is that you got out there :)
I use other bloggers as motivation, heck if they can do it so can I!
Even though I’ve lived in GA for the past 9 years, the Orioles are still my favorite baseball team. Go O’s!
That’s the sportiest comment that I’ve ever written, I think.
I have been to lots of baseballs games! The Minnesota Twins got a new stadium a few years ago (we had the ugly metrodome for most of my lifetime) so its a preferred activity in Minneapolis in the summer. Also, Malai (bf) and I took a road trip last summer from NYC to Minnesota and we grabbed a couple baseball games along the way, which was super fun! We scored some awesome Boston tickets and were able to see the granddaddy of em all.. Fenway! (they were playing Baltimore that day, too!)
