I am not sure if it is the summer heat or what, but everyone seems to be in a rush these days.
On the road we drive as fast as we can to get to point A to point B, bypassing others who really just don’t get the message.
In the kitchen, we make dinner as fast as possible to feed the hungry masses before they eat you alive.
In our minds, we want to lose those last 5 or 20 pounds as fast as possible because you can’t start “living” until you are at the perfect weight.
News flash, we are rushing through life, for no good reason.
So why not slow down and have a smoothie.
Live life in the slowwwww lane.
Or just make this smoothie that my mom made for me today and jump back into the fast lane.
- 1/2 cup fat free milk
- 1/2 cup fat free vanilla yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 6 strawberries
- 1 mango
- 3-4 ice cubes
Blend and enjoy!
