Step Into My Office

This is what I looked like yesterday.

IMG_1044 And I just wanted to point out a few things:

  1. If you are obsessed with my eyebrows, it’s because I am get them threaded.  Threading >>>>>>Waxing
  2. I am wearing make up before 9 am, I have no idea who I am anymore.
  3. If you are looking for a cute scarf to jazz up an outfit, raid your mother’s closet.

In addition to letting my use her scarves my mom makes me lunch, yes I am 22 and my mom still feeds me.

She kicked up a regular turkey sandwich with some banana peppers, but the chippies were my favorite part.

I step into my office, I like to start off the beginning the semester with a clean. I think an organized desk is the best way to start off a semester.  Yes, I have a desktop and a netbook and my favorite site to be on is my own!

The majority of my day was spent on setting up a printer and picking out the perfect one. My problem with any sort of technology is getting it to work the way I want it to and that is usually never the case.

Between the semi-helpful salesman at Staples and my smartie pants brother and dad I have a printer hooked up to my desktop.

I bought the Canon pixma mx410, I mainly bought it because it was in my budget $79 and because it has a fax machine which my mom was looking for!

Do you struggle with technology?

I think just being a female limits my ability to deal with all things technology, men just have a knack for these things. I am not being sexist, this is just how it seems to me!

Yeah, I’m a tech dunce, but my husband is a tech genius, so I rely on him. Also, this is a really dumb question, but what is eyebrow threading?!

  2. You would be lost in my house. Hunni is not good with tech stuff. I fix all our electronic (not just computers) all the time. I also am the handi-woman. I lived by myself for almost 9 years before getting married so I had to learn quick.

  3. Wow, I just realized that you DO have perfect eyebrows! I don’t do anything to mine besides tweezing a few strays (being blonde pays off in that department), but if I ever need it I need to keep threading in mind…

I got my eyebrows threaded once! its pretty cool! I’ve heard that it is also way better for the sensitive skin around your eyebrows, as hot wax on that area can speed up wrinkles. Make sense!

I used to say I wasn’t that “techy”, but this year, I started an account management job in internet advertising and I am responsible for knowing a lot of technical aspects of the internet including servers, design, Adobe flash, HTML, etc. It’s amazing how much more I know now that I am basically forced to learn!
