Ever since my injury, I only teach non impact ab crunch classes, I am happy I can still teach group fitness. But teaching cardio is my passion, so anytime someone asks for a sub to teach a cardio class I am all over it.

This is how I found myself teaching “Zumba” at noon on Friday. I am not Zumba certified, but I am certified to teach boooooot camp, aka fun campppp!

20 people showed up for some booty shaking Zumba, but instead they found themselves, running around with medicine balls and crab walking across the gym studio.

I had fun and so did they! Getting to teach may have been fun but I am left with sore knees and a stiff back, just a small price to pay for some booty kicking cardio.

My friend Taylor who came to my class, gave me some great feedback on how to teach my class. Most of the times I teach I make up my own workouts and I usually don’t get much critical feedback.  It’s nice to know what to switch up and make the class more effective and fun.

We chatted over lunch, I grabbed a egg salad sandwich with a side of chippies!

After teaching, I headed back to my desk job and put away some files and I called it a day and went to start my weekend.

Kelli and I went to Kabob Connections at the Columbia Mall, and I had a beef&lamb gyro.

It was the size of both of my forearms and I did the best I could to finish it, but my sister helped me out!

After dinner Kelli and I went to the movies to watch What’s Your Number? Anna Faris is so cute charming and totally ridiculous!

It.was.hysterical. Want to know what is even more hysterical? People watching the people that go to the movies. We saw a man with an oxygen tank, who was at a movie was saw a few weeks ago, a woman who could not figure out how to use the automated ticket machine. And some hair extensions that were clearly not on someone’s head.

I love people watching. 

I went home and was in bed before midnight. I can’t hang like I used to.

Today, I am off to whip up a fun dinner for my friend’s dinner, stay tuneddd for a recap!
