Mini Desserts Rule

Last night I ate brown fried rice and a salad for dinner. And I tried to study for my last final butttttt we all know how that goes.

And a ton of holiday cookies. Tis’ the season.

This afternoon I had I final, and all I could think about was how much I needed a haircut.

Fall semester is officially over!!

Don’t worry I passed and as soon as I was done, I went to get my hair cut.

Naturally, I bought everything my stylist used on me.

Do you  get your hair cut at Bubbles?

I bought Cibu spring roll, a shaping crème for curly hair.

And Cibu HI-YA! a keratin reconstructive conditioner and shampoo.

Have you used these products before?? I literally do nothing for my hair. I wash it every other day and I use Head&Shoulders. I am so lame.

*Picture of the haircut is down below! I really loved how the stylist did my hair, but I felt bad because I was not super chatty. And I felt like she was waiting for me to talk, truthfully I just wanted to play on my phone and let her work her magic. But, I am normally a super chatty person, just not today!

Do you  feel pressured to make small talk while you get your haircut?

To celebrate the end of finals, Kelli and I went to P.F Changs for dinner and my only meal of the day…

I started off with a diet coke.

Lettuce wraps are basically amazing.

The food was good and all, but I really wanted the mini desserts.

Kelli and I split 4 of them. They were $2.25 each!

  • Great Wall Of Chocolate Mini-Too chocolaty and rich
  • Creamy Cheesecake Mini-My favorite
  • Red Velvet Mini-Kelli’s favorite, I thought it was too rich
  • Tres Leche Lemon Dream Mini-my 2nd fav, Kelli thought it was too rich

I love the idea of mini desserts, they are awesome for sharing.

I don’t like the taste of fortune cookies, but the fortune is always lovely.

Not the most flattering outfit, but it was comfy. And I am happy to have healthy hair!

How often do you get your haircut? I try to go once every 5 or so months.

  1. Your hair looks great! I’m super lazy about getting my hair cut. Usually like once every 6 months or when it starts looking shaggy! :)

  2. Love your hair! I got mine cut after my wedding but it was over a year before that… I’m horrible at getting haircuts.

Also, LOVED your guest post on healthy ashley’s blog!

    • Sana says:

I mean let’s be honest, I spend 5 mins on my hair a day to put it into a bun. Who really has that kind of time? But I will say, I feel super pretty!

      Thanks for reading the post!!

  3. Floey says:

Same, once every 5months. And I’m the same way, I spend sometimes less than 5minutes getting my hair in a ponytail in the morning…hah.
    Your cut looks gorgeous!

  4. SIL says:

Mini desserts are the way to go. I would have had to order all of them too. Your hair looks very pretty! It’s so SHINY!!

    • Sana says:

But I love that the portions are so tiny, I was good after a few spoonfuls. Plus they are very rich so you can’t go to town on them!

  5. Sara says:

Thank you for reminding me to make a hair appointment :)

I’m the same, I don’t talk much to my stylist. But luckily she doesn’t seem to mind.

    • Sana says:

Well, she asked me what I was doing with my life and truthfully it’s hard to answer that when so much is up in the air.
So I started to talk to her about her life ;)

  6. I’ve never had a shot glass dessert! They always look fun, though :)
