I know I should be eating soemthing a bit more substantial for breakfast, but I really don’t crave anything when I am rushing around trying to get to work on time.

I guess this is why, I had 2 fraps and 2 Clif crunch bars while I worked today. I was really hungry.

A recycled lunch picture, but you get the idea. I had Frozen Instant Yakisoba Japanese Noodles from Costco. I have to confess, I ate around the veggies. I am not entirely positive but I think my stomach can’t deal with broccoli, so I did not want to take the risk of eating it. I had the same thing for lunch last Tuesday and I was pretty miserable. The good news is that I was pain free, the bad news was that I was STARVING.

I snacked on some fresh fruit while I finished up work and as soon as I got home from work, I had another serving of the best salad ever. Pre packaged salads from costco rule, mixed greens, dried cranberries, walnuts, parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar.

The avocados were also from Costco, and they were perfectly ripe. It only took a week.

After my salad snack, I hit the gym with my sister and my mom, and while I was on the recumbent bike, I was able to observe many personal training sessions going on at my gym. And they all pretty much went like this:

“No.”

“Noooo.”

“Nooooooo, you are doing it wrong.”

I can’t imagine how the peson being trained was feeling, but I was getting uncomfortable. I clearly have nothing better to do at the gym, but I just felt like the trainer could have been a bit more encouraging.

Me and my judgey self

For my personal “workout” I walked a mile at 3.4, nothing crazy but my back did not like it at all. After I walked, I put my feet up on the ball and rolled my back around.

This is the most compfortable position for me to be in whenever my back hurts is to have my legs elevated. I don’t know how else to describe it but, it feel like my spine does not set down properly when I am laying down. Basically it feels like my body is all messed up.

Either way I am glad I did some sort of cardio, it was nothing epic but a bit more than what I can handle at the moment.

For dinner, I microwaved a potato with a side of salmon and rice with lentials.

And milk and cookies for a late night snack. And believe me, it was really late at night.2012-01-24_23-17-51_621

Hope your back feels better. I’ve been popping advil to help the inflammation in my hip/pelvis. heh.

I was initially prescribed 800mg of ibuprofen when I went to the doctors, I never went back.

I have no way of knowing if I am made the right choice or not, but I can’t see myself taking ibuprofen forever?
Sigh.
