Things I Want To Say

1. Does this make me a true foodie?

I don’t even like wearing socks, but I am totally going to rock some banana socks!

2. I am currently reading The Space Between Us by Thrity Umrigar, thanks Jenna for the recommendation.

When I read books about life in India, I feel strange because on one hand India is where my parents grew up and I should feel some connection to that country. However, my life in America is the only one I know so I can’t imagine anything else.

3. I will do anything to save time on my commute to class from home. Even if it involves climbing a hill and jumping over a cement wall almost as tall as I am.

4. What is the proper way to order a sandwich?

A: Say everything you want all at once? Egg salad with lettuce, tomatoes, honey mustard and pepper jack cheese.

B: List everything one by one as the sandwich maker is putting it all together.

I personally think A is rude, because you expect the person making the sandwich to remember everything.

However, apparently in my 23 years of existence I have been using method B, which is incorrect. At least that is what the lady who made my sandwich yesterday told me. Actually, she yelled at me for ordering my sandwich incorrectly.

Needless to say I won’t be ordering my sandwiches form there anymore.

Since I lack the ability to come up with a reply when confronted by someone, I silently took my sandwich from her and walked away.

It certainly put a damper on my lunch.
