Cousins.

I got to visit my Singaporean cousins one last time, before they went off to D.C for work and back home!

We ate some kabob, rice with yogurt and spent the rest of the night chatting away.

My cousins were telling me about this flat iron from the UK that they are obsessed with called Good Hair Day (GHD). I thought that was a super funny name!

Apparently it’s the best thing ever, has anyone ever used one? I would like a GHD everyday!

Today, I went to Patient First because my neck felt slightly swollen, and since I am currently taking microbiology, I only pictured the worst.

Inflammation=your body fighting off the bad/evil bacteria.

On a side note, I love walk-in-clinics, I was in and out in less than an hour with almost no wait!

Apparently, I am capable of straining a neck while doing absolutely nothing.

I quit. Never moving again. The doctor asked me if I was in a car accident….

Between a fractured spine and a strained neck, I am just a walking disaster.

I am off to go ice my neck…my life is so glamorous.

I own a GHD!! They are awesome!- takes about 30 seconds to reach full heat and straightens my wavy hair really quickly and well. They are really popular in here in Australia- they are pretty expensive (AU$240) but for the time I save using it (as opposed to a cheaper one) it is totally worth it!
    Love your blog Sana!!

Woah! You are reading form Australia? SO COOL!!! Apparently we need to get on this GHD business!
      Thanks for reading :)

Hey Sana, great job with the blog love reading it :) It’s inspired me to get going with my own (it’s a work in progress!). Yes I own a GHD as well, there are uber popular here in sunny South Africa…it’s the best thing sliced bread! It takes me about 5 mins to straighten my hair and my sis has suppper curly hair…say 10 mins for hers!! Amaze stuff :)

South Africa???? Wow Hii Renee! Send me a link to your blog when you are done and e-mail me if you have any blogging related questions!
I can’t believe I have never heard of GHD here in America, the flat iron that I have is called CHI.

  4. Renee says:

Hahah and I’ve never heard of CHI before, funny that! You should look into GHD makes your have like a whole ‘Good Hair Life’ :) And your hair stays straight for like the next 2 days so you don’t have to use it that often either…just touch ups! Yup good ol sunny South Africa, but I’m of Indian descent as well…I’m 7th generation here in SA!!! Durban, South African has the biggest diaspora of Indians outside of India! Thanks so much for the offer for some blog assistance, will def take you up on that offer, and soon at that :)

    • Sana says:

I am so sheltered, I naturally assumed that Indian people live in India, UK and America. So cool, I am so pumped to check out your blog now

  5. Renee says:
