Yoga Stresses Me Out {GIVEAWAY}

When I am stressed out, the last thing I want to do is sit calmly and think about all the things I have to do.

And I don’t have time to make sure I am breathing deeply though my nose. I am just lucky to be getting some air.


I have no idea where I got this yoga dvd from, prolly a blog conference swag, but instead of paying for a yoga class I decided to try out the dvd.

Yoga DVD pet peeve: Don’t tell me to release tension. Holding this pose while you talk in a relaxing voice is making me tense.

What pisses me off about yoga, is that everyone loovvvvvessss it, and I feel like something is wrong with me just because I am not head over heels in love with yoga.

However, I am making an effort to work on my flexibility and I am proud of myself for making it 15 minutes though the DVD before calling it quits.

And I had good reason to bail on the DVD- Kelli and I were going out for Indian food!

Best part about going out to eat with a friend who likes the same food as you? Sharing the meal!



Chicken Khorma and Basmati Rice is an amazing combo! And the best part? We got dessert for free!


Except it was way too hot and Kelli and I had to spit our first bite out!

    I also am not into yoga and have the same feeling about everyone LOVING it. People keep telling me to find an instructor that I like. I’m still unconvinced but will be trying another place next week. I need to get more flexible :-(

  7. I wasn’t a fan of yoga until I went to a studio- then I was absolutely hooked. It is so much better in a strictly yoga environment (no distractions, temptations, etc…) with an “expert” who can help guide you. I go 2-3 times a week and have noticed a huge difference in the last 8 months in my body composition- there are muscles now!
