I have dropped 10 lbs since this post. I love it when things just happen naturally without much effort by my part. But I know (2) major changes in my life that have allowed for this to happen.
1) I don’t eat out as much anymore.

I love love loveee eating out. I used to eat out for at least 1 meal a day. Food always tastes better when someone else makes and I love having options to choose from. Additionally, the company is awesome.
However, since I graduated college the bank of Mom&Dad shut down and I am paying for my 2nd college degree. Soo I don’t have any extra money to spend on food or coffee.
Food at home is always “free”.
The only thing I miss about eating out other than the food is having people to do it with, but it’s a good thing I am pretty much in school/class full time so I don’t miss it too much.
On the bright side, it is doing wonders for my waistline.
2) I am MOVING more!
Since I finished up physical therapy, I am no longer sitting around at home in pain. I am jumping Into Fitness!

Working out is just a part of my life, I love working my own body as well as teaching fitness classes. The workouts I love the best are the ones where I have fun instead of just feeling blah and out of shape.
I know I definitely took the ability to move for granted pre-injury and boy am I glad to have the ability to move and sit pain free back!
The best part about being more active is that I am going to lose weight, I don’t want to feel like I am on a weight loss journey. I am on the journey to just be moving more, whether it is in the form of jogging, biking and walking I am excited that it is a part of my life!
Soo, that is the story of how I found myself down 10 pounds from the last time I stepped on the scale.
Any weight loss success stories you want to share?

That’s so great! It’s so nice to be able to see that not obsessing over the scale does NOT necessarily mean you’re sidelining your health. Here’s hoping that I’ll see a similar drop the next time I can will myself onto the scale, eh? :)
You will totally see amazing results! Power of positive thinking :)
YAY for 10 pounds! No losses to report, however, I did run/walk intervals for FIVE miles last weekend :)
Yay for run/walk intervals!!!! You are so epic :)
Yay, that’s awesome! I’ve noticed you’re looking slimmer. Keep up the good work. :)
Congrats on the weight loss. I feel you on the eating out thing. Even when I have awesome food at home I want to just hit a restaurant so badly! Weekends are the worst for me
Eating out is just FUN! And you get to be social as well!
Congrats on the loss! I find my weight slides down when I’m moving more in general instead of just when I’m actually working out. All those little movements add up!
Yeah, I even try and do more chores when I can instead! Moving totally makes a huge difference!
Great job Sana!
Congrats dear! :) I used to go to trader joes alllll the time in college because it was right across from my school…but, yeah, same story — bank of M & D is now closed and I can’t afford those little treats anymore!
Congrats on the weightloss!!! HIGH FIVE :) I have lost 1kg haha not much in comparison but I did do a kettlebell workout yesterday for the first time, pretty fun! Loving your mini bootcamp idea! Motivation at it’s best :)
Go you! Great job, lady :)
Nice work, Sana! I share your mentality that health should happen naturally. I know a lot of women who get a little crazy and eat next to nothing for weeks, loose a bunch of weight, but then gain it all back.
I was tipping the scales this winter and managed to lose ten pounds between January and March, but now I’m stuck and I can’t seem to lose anymore. I’m ridiculously active, and I know the stall in my progress is due to my eating. I eat a lot of healthy food but also eat a sweet treat most days, so I just need to cut back on that! However, I’m still grateful that I lost the ten pounds I did and have managed to maintain that. I’ve also noticed that it helped my running tremendously! I had a half marathon personal best time a few weeks ago. Less of me to carry around for 13 miles helps, I guess!
