Pomegranate Mint Soda {RECIPE}

I do have to admit I love drinking diet soda. Yes, I know it’s terrible for me, however whenever I have a headache or  a stomachache a cool glass of fizzy soda always does the trick. I also enjoy soda at dinner parties or whenever I go out to eat. However we don’t keep any soda in my house, I know my friends love it when they come to visit and bring their own soda.

After drinking a few too many glasses of soda over the weekend, I decided to make another fizzy drink that I could enjoy.

Pomegranate Mint Soda

My dad’s co-worker bought us some fresh mint and we have been putting it to good use all week long. I love the smell of fresh mint so I decided to combine it with some seltzer water and pomegranate juice.

POM juice can be a bit strong so along with some ice cubes I added 1/4 of a tsp of raw sugar. I prefer it without the sugar, but both versions are delicious!

We are having some beautiful weather here in Baltimore, I can’t wait to enjoy the weather later in the evening when I am done with work and class!

Are you a soda drinker? Do you enjoy POM juice?

  1. that looks delicious! i made Pomegranate Mint popsicles a couple years ago. :)

    Luckily, I’m not really a big fan of soda! I love kombucha, flavored sparkling water or unsweetened tea instead. :)
