How Do I Cut Potato Wedges?

Thanks to reading various food blogs, I always have a stock pile of recipes that I plan on making one day. Yesterday, I decided to make the Best Oven Potato Wedges by Susan. My family loves potato wedges, we used to get some from the deli at Food Lion when we were younger. In fact I remember for all of our childhood trips to the beach we would stop by a Food Lion in Delaware just to have the delicious potato wedges.

I followed Susan’s exact recipe and I used Google to figure out how to cut potato wedges.

To make the wedges I skinned the potato and cut it in half lengthwise.

I placed each half down on the flat side.

And cut it once more lengthwise.

With each section, I cut it into 3 wedges.

My wedges were not perfect but they were better that the chips I usually make!

To season I used basting oil from Wegmans that contained garlic and herbs.

The only part that was kinda iffy was when the wedges got stuck to the foil despite the fact that I had sprayed the foil before hand.

However these were the BEST oven fries I have ever eaten!

They were crisp on the outside, but soft in the middle! Even my picky siblings told me that theses were delicious!

I will definitely make this recipe again.
