Sometimes I like to send out e-mails to my clients about the FUN workouts that I make up for them:

I really am too excited……
I have class on the other side of town before I teach so I do my best to make it on time to the track. However, it works out well since most people get a chance to chit chat and get a warm-up in before I arrive.
After I teach, I head over to my gym (near my house) and test out a workout to teach the next day. I also like to squeeze in my own workout while I am already out of the house so I don’t have any excuses!

Thankfully I love going to the gym! ( 85% of the time)
My gym just got a tad bit cooler with the addition of a healthy vending machine! I spy some pita chips and cliff bars. I think they had fresh items which were spoiled during a power outage a few days ago, hence the empty machine.
Here is a sample of a workout that I usually do with my class, the perfect lunch break workout (you can get back to the office without being TOO sweaty):
* Do as many rounds as you prefer, I did 3.
** I used 8 lb free weights.
*** Always consult a physician before starting an exercise program, I am only certified to teach my fitness classes.
Opposite knee tap crunches on medicine ball: (Use your ab muscles to come up and tap the opposite knee)
Lunges with medicine ball twist: I prefer to twist only to the side with the leg in front.
Modified plank on ball: (Make sure you use your core to hold yourself up and not your elbows, the picture is slightly misleading.)
Mountain Climbers with Free Weights: (Place free weights on the floor shoulder width apart, the lbs does not matter)
Standing push-ups while gripping a railing: (Use a railing that comes up to your chest, hold on to the railing and take two steps back. Bring your chest towards the railing at an incline while squeezing your shoulder blades)
It’s hard to take pictures of yourself while working out! I really love this workout and I know my class did as well.
After the gym I went to Trader Joe’s to make something quick for lunch. The vending machine made me hungry!
I combined 1/2 of the Southwest Salad with 1/4 of the tofu (my parents ate the rest).
And had some corn tortilla chips with black bean & roasted corn salsa.
My lunch was so delicious and really filling! I usually assume that I will be starving 15 minutes after eating a salad. That was sooo NOT the case with this meal.
Wanna know that I wore to teach today AND to my anatomy class last night? The top below from Lululemon. (Excuse the messy hair+glasses look)
I realize that it is 80+ degrees out, but my gym and classrooms BLAST the ac. I am also just obsessed with the top, the girl behind me in class kept stroking my arm in class because the material is so soft.
I think the cut is flattering on my figure, the arms look a bit snug but I am in the process of losing some weight so I expect things to look a little wonky.
This is the worst review ever because I have no idea what the name of the top is and I can’t find it on the Lululemon website.
Maybe it sold out?
