My Weekend.

Saturday

Life has suddenly become very busy and I really could not be happier (well exhausted/happy). Yes, I realize we are ALL OMGSOOOOOBUSY.

On Saturday morning, the kids from the Summer Reading Program I teach, took a trip to the public library.

I love this picture, we are all clearly having a thrilling conversation. I am pretty sure the kids were trying to guess my age.

They all decided I was 65.

We sat through story time and did many rounds of “Wheels on the Bus”.

And we checked out too many books, I really hope the kids remember to take them back to the library…

I really do enjoy working with the kids, the little ones (4-7) are so sweet and really do love books. However, they are exhausting! When I finally came home from the library, I face planted into bed for a major nap!

I am clearly not ready for babies of my own.

Finally after I had rested I headed out to Wegman’s with my mom and sister.

Check out my sister’s outfit from Forever 21:

She is so stinking cute.

Oh and here is my outfit for reference- I like to roll with the casual and comfortable look.

The best part of the shopping trip was that my mom and I got to use the cart elevator for the first time.

SO MUCH FUN! Anddd that was my thrilling Saturday. I also got the hiccups while I was sitting alone in the Wegman’s café. Have you ever hiccupped alone? It is majorly awkward.

Sunday

I have to admit, that I am a bit of a copycat. I good friend of mine got a haircut sooo I went and got one myself and I went shopping at Forever 21 to get an outfit similar to my sister’s.

I think the style of this outfit is called color blocking? I am so out of the fashion loop it’s not even funny.

Should I be impressed that I can still fit into an outfit from Forever 21???

Also, am I the only one that gets sweaty changing in fitting rooms? They really need to crank up the ac, because leaving sweaty clothes for other people to purchase is gross.

After I closed down the mall at 6pm, I met up with my family to head out to a friend’s grad party.

I ate some delicious appetizers. I am convinced I could live off of chickpeas and yogurt forever.

The best part of grad parties? The cakeee!

The cake was from Wegman’s (aka the best place ever) and I had it with some homemade mango ice cream.

Best combo ever!

WHERE did you get that grey shirt in the photo of you in the car door? I just love the drape of it, it looks casual, yet chic. I need it!

Also, I’ve been eating chickpeas in just about everything too. Chana Masala, anyone (sp?).

P.S. you look great, have you been losing more weight?
