Working Out During Ramadan.

First of all I want to say thanks for all the sweet comments on my weight loss post, you guys are really nice and supportive! I can’t wait to continue sharing my thoughts and progress.

Anddd on with a random post:

I had high hopes for exercising during the month of Ramadan, but we are on week 2 and I have yet to move a muscle.

My brother on the other had has been doing a great job with his fitness routine. Here he is showing us his anytime anywhere ab routine:

I think he also went running a few times while fasting. Go Bro!

On Saturday the little ones and I took a trip to an African-American Museum. I was a little worried that we would all be in a museum where you can’t run around and touch things.

But things actually ended up going pretty smoothly and we all left without things getting too crazy.

After taking a nap, I went out with the family for some shopping errands. This is my mom hanging on for dear life while my brother drives:

Hahaha, I am clearly not concerned. I drive the speed limit so I am surprised I am not the one hanging on for dear life. However, fasting has made me calm, which is shocking since I usually live my life in panic mode.

At the mall I convinced my sister to buy a pair of TOMS. I want her to stop squishing her huge feet into mine and now that she has her own pair my shoes are safe!

While my sister tried all the different styles of shoes my mom and I people watched. The best way to kill time before eating is to watch the crazies at the mall. I kid. I kid.

And speaking of fasting, it’s been interesting thus far. I usually go crazy if I skip a meal or a daily snack, but I literally have no appetite.  I go grocery shopping and I feel nothing.

My mom made chaat papri for dinner/ iftar last night and I managed a few bites. My beloved chickpeas!

I am sure my appetite will be back as soon as Ramadan is over.

Any fellow chickpea lovers out there? Eat some for me. Thanksloveyoubyeee.
