Surprise Dinner Party

I do have to say, it is very interesting cooking for a bunch of people while fasting.

You would think that cooking while fasting would be the hard part, right? However it’s the not being able to taste the food until you serve it that really makes things interesting.

Basically it’s a surprise dinner party.

Dessert: “Indian spaghetti” dessert and  Festive Custard

I had fun cooking the stuffed shells, mango salsa and the fried tandoori chicken bites. The rest of the food was made by my lovely mom. Dinner parties are always challenging to cook for but not being able to taste the food makes the whole thing a surprise.

Since no one has yet to complain, I think my mom and I did a great job! Oh and my sister and dad helped out as well, but I am still the favorite child.

What would you serve for a typical dinner party?

  1. Everything looks so good! What is the spaghetti dessert called?! I’ve seen something similar before but have no idea what it is called.

I would totally serve my veggie lasagna to a dinner party. It is easy to prepare and everyone enjoys it!!!
