Hardcore Workouts

My workouts post-Ramadan have been so hardcore I don’t even know where to begin!

First up: Double fisting drinks at Panera. I really wanted coffee and a strawberry smoothie, so I got both. It was quite a workout getting out the door, finding my keys and getting into the car without spilling anything.

Panera

My 2nd workout was at an actual gym. My siblings and I decided to checkout a new gym within our membership so of course I spent the first 10 minutes of my workout people watching (everyone is so different at a new gym) and looking for all of my favorite machines.

^ look at how hardcore my sister is!

My sister and I are so different when it comes to working out, in the past I would have been right along side of her running , but I am just having a grand time with walking.

I spent 20 minutes on the elliptical and finished up with tons of tricep dips, pushups, free weights, traveling lunges and SQUATS!

(HAHAH, I look super excited for my workout)

Of course I was crazy sore the next day so I rested and did nothing…

And yesterday, I walked 2.5 miles around the neighborhood. I will have to be honest it was a bit of a struggle, my back was just tight and stiff. But I managed to finish the loop and went home to stretch.

When I made my way home, I showed my brother my finishing time he just shook his head and asked me to put him down if he ever finished 2.5 miles with a similar time.

Yikes….

Apparently I am not all that hardcore.

I think my back is just feeling it from the relaxing month of Ramadan and I will be back into jogging by next week!

Have you done any “hardcore” workouts this week?

My hardcore workout looks pretty similar to your double fisting one…haha. I go on 20-30min walks in the evening around my neighborhood, but that’s about it…
