First up. What to know what I ate for lunch and dinner yesterday? Potato Curry. So good.
Potato Curry
1 onion-chopped
coriander 2 tbs
ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
1 tsp salt and pepper
turmeric 1/2 tsp
4 medium sized potatoes- chopped and peeled
1/2 a cup of water
1. Fry onion until golden brown add ginger garlic paste, salt, pepper, turmeric
2. Add and lightly fry the potatoes
3. Add coriander with water.
Cook for 30 minutes.
After a 45 minute power walk my sister and went out for a late night shopping session, I am so glad Target stays open till 11pm.
We first stopped at a local shoe store, my sister contemplated running shoes for like 5 hours, while I sat and played on my phone.
My sister and I have very different shopping styles, I am a fast shopper and she likes to explore all of her options.
Here is a picture of the shoes that did not make the cut, they apparently had a “funny shape”.
However my sister and I agree that froyo is a very essential component of a shopping trip.
Have you ever seen $2 of frozen yogurt?
It was just as good without the crazy toppings!
We all know that Target is basically one big money trap, I have a hard time leaving without spending over $100.
However, last night I managed to grab 50 dollars worth of “essentials”:
Reebok Toning weighed ball, I plan on reviewing this later, but I wanted a weighted ball at home so I don’t always have to run over to the gym to use one.
Earrings. I just wanted them?
Clif Crunch Bars, I can’t exist without them.
Face wash, has anyone used these products before? I want to take better care of my skin without spending $$ on products I don’t need. In the past I have used a regular bar soap, so you can see I am clueless in this department.
Vaseline and mints.
Socks- I hate wearing them but I am going to start running this week and I have no idea where my other pairs went.
Legal pads. I have decided that I am going to be professional student so I now use pads. Notebooks are for babies.
Annnd that is how you spend $50 at Target, I did not buy any clothes because I am not impressed with the style at Target these days.
I just don’t get it. I am also not very fashion forward since I live in yoga pants.
Riveting post, yeah? I know you guys were just dying to know what I get at Target for $50!
What do you buy at Target? How much do you normally spend.
Oh, and I will forever be #teamtarget. Walmart sucks.

I walked out of Target with just ONE box of pumpkin spice seasonal k-cups on Sunday. And it was tough! I contemplated stocking up on seasonal items, beauty supplies, a new coffee tumbler, dresses…eek. My budget lockdown till October is going to be HARD!
PS. I’ve been using this method with some pretty decent results…

and it’s cheap!
WOW, thanks for sharing that link with me, your skin looks awesome! What kinda of oil do you use?
Thanks!! It depends on your skin type. Right now I’m using 2/3 castor oil and the rest EVOO. In the colder months it was 50/50. And I add a few drops of tea tree oil (not sure if that really does anything).
I wish I knew my skin type. I think it’s complicated?
This is probably a silly question but how do you cook the potatoes for 30 min? They would burn if they were just left frying wouldn’t they? I am going to try this recipe tomorrow so wanted to check with you how to cook it
Oh my goodness I should not be allowed to have a blog! I totally forgot to type in the water. I am so sorry. They should only slightlyyyy stick to the bottom.
I hope you love them just as much as i do.
Target is awesome! :) I love going there when i’m in the US. Quite impressive you managed to get all that stuff in $50 :)
Gosh, I can’t imagine living without Target! How do you survive??
I always end up walking out of Target with clothes and food :P
I love the food selection at Target, and I usually LOVE the clothes. Just not this time around…
I have used the face wash and it was good. I’ve really like Yes to Tomato, its under $10. I always wash my face twice. once to remove makeup, once to remove the oil. when I started doing that I noticed a lot of improvement
Humm, thanks for the recommendation! I will have to check it out :)
