Day 4Describe your typical training schedule for a week

Luckily for me, the running group that I am a part of has most of our workouts set for the week.  I am usually terrible at planning out workouts so it’s nice to have some structure in my life.

For my 1 to 2 days of cross training I did the elliptical and a TRX Suspension Training class.

I try not to run on back to back days and give myself 1-2 rest days a week, nothing too crazy.

Day 5 Share pictures of your favourite place to workout

I love running and walking around the lake near my house. It is a good way to exercise with the whole family since we can all leave together and meet up back at home once we are done.

Day 6 How do you log your eating and/or workouts?

I do my best to use the blog as a way to keep track of my eating and workouts, however I usually just eat and workout when I feel the need to do so.

Day 7 What’s your favourite strength move?

Ever since I took the TRX Suspension Training class, I have become obsessed with these moves:

Seriously, I almost cried 2 days after the class because simply having my arms attached to my body was too painful.

Random Life Updates

Yesterday, we had a crazy storm in the DC/MD area so I rushed over to the spa near my house so that I could get rained in and have some serious work done.

The lady doing my nails convinced me to get this gray-ish color, it looked so good on her but I am not so sure how well it goes with my skin color.

Thoughts? You guys know how terrible I am at making life choices, I am a wreck when it comes out to picking a nail color. Not really, but you get the idea.

I have been spending most of my free time studying, I am all about using flash cards this semester. They really helped me do well with my summer classes and after years of fighting it I have fully joined the flash card train and I am not looking back.

We also dissected a sheep’s heart in anatomy lab this week, I was surprised to see how much adipose tissue was covering the heart.

That sheep must have been a fatty for being a vegetarian. However, adipose tissue is good for animals because it helps keep them warm.

I know I have not had many pictures of my siblings on the blog lately but I really have no idea where they are these days.

My brother came home yesterday to stock up on my mom’s cooking and to wash his clothes.

My brother’s TV watching face. Apparently today was a big day of sporting events on TV, my family sat like statues glued to the TV until something exciting happened during a game. But it was nice to have everyone under the same roof for a bit of the weekend.

I think this is my sister, but I am not sure? What to you guys think?

I thought that lake was a painting! Omgosh, I would love to sit and read there.
PS. It’s okay, my brother can’t cook or do laundry either (he’s almost 20!).
PPS. The polish looks great! It doesn’t look very greyish at all.

Your life is admirable healthy living. Keep doing well! I think I will help you a bit with a study experience of mine. If you are about to use flashcards to study, try using online flashcard, even better if you can study them on your smartphone. Studying flashcards on smartphone is like 5 times more interesting than paper flashcards I guess. Try my favorite superflashcard.com

I love TRX! I only tried it once, but fell in love. I wish there was an affordable option near my house.
