On the days that I am not running I try to do something fun for cross training purposes. So yesterday I went on a 30 minute power walk with my mom.
I thought it was going to rain so I brought my umbrella… it only sprinkled. Why does it always pour when I have nothing to cover myself with?
By the time I got home it was close to dinner time so I grabbed a Larabar before going to the gym for part ii of my workout.
After I warmed up for 2o minutes on the arc trainer I decided to do some strength training, my arms could use a little work.
I randomly came across this video for 10 different pushup styles and made a fun workout for myself to try.
I am pretty sure I will never regain full function of my arms, but the decline pushup was my favorite one.
I did modify the other ones on my knees, being able to do knee pushups is one of the best parts about being a girl ![]()

Niiice! That’s a tough workout right there. Me thinks I’ll add some staggered pushups and dive bombers to tomorrow’s workout.
I count reps even when I just fall to the floor. I still have to push myself back up.
I have next to NO upper arm strength! I am horrible at pushups, pull ups, etc. so props to you for doing so many!
I can’t do pull ups to save my life! It’s hard to move against gravity!

I teach vertical push ups in my classes! Only get the Larabars with chocolate. Otherwise they are gross.

I am horrible on pushups. Pathetic bad. Even on my knees! Good workout. I could use jello arms this week!
I did them all on my knees if I could, it gets easier over time :)
