Future Adventures

What do I do the day after I run on back to back days?

  • 30 minutes on the elliptical to warm up.
  • 50 tricep dips
  • endless foam rolling.

My quads are so thankful. I am also pretty pleased with the fact that I am not super sore with running on back to back days.

However I am playing it super safe with lots of stretching. Yay for staying active and injury free!

Can we talk about my obsession with Trader Joe’s Tomato Basil Marinara sauce?

I ate pasta with ground chicken for both lunch and dinner. I can’t get enough of the sauce in my life!

Now that I am sort of back up to speed with my fitness, I can start dreaming of future fitness goals and adventures.

In 2013 I plan on either running a 1/2 marathon or going on a hiking/ biking adventure. I am ready to be excited about what I can do physically. I also have a super scary goal of doing a mini tri in Sept of 2013. Have a mentioned that I can’t swim?

Meg has told me so many wonderful things about her trip through REI adventures that I really want to save up and train to do something EPIC.

I would LOVE to go back to Switzerland and hike the Alps again.

But I am also looking into the bike adventure trips as well. Won’t it be cool if a bunch of bloggers got together to go on a trip?

Have you ever been on an adventure trip? If you had the option which trip would you like to go on?

      Hi Caroline,
Thank you for your sweet comment! I try to find fun ways to workout and with other people. It really helps me stick to being active when I don’t want to.

REI adventure all the way. It’s slightly pampered but also challenging. I LOVED it. There’s also adventures that have cycling involved in them!
