Whewwww. Seriously how is it already Thursday night?? Life has been a tad extra busy since I started a new part-time job. More deets later once I am done with training.
I have been starting out the past few mornings with this amazing breakfast. Pumpkin bread (TJ’s mix) with some fresh strawberries. Usually followed by some warm coffee, it has been chilly here.
And by chilly I mean 50-60 degrees.
I figure this blog post will be a quick 3-day workout recap:
Tuesday- my sister came to the abs class I teach, it was nice having her around to snap a few pics!
I like having pictures form my class just so that I can double check my form. I taught a 30 minute ab/cardio interval class. Crunches with some running drills.
I came home for a quick break after teaching and went to the gym for a Taebo class.
I only ended up staying for 30 minutes, I just wanted to keep it light on the impact cardio.
Wednesday- I taught a walking class and power walked a mile with my class. And took the rest of the day off from doing anything physical. I am so proud of all the people that take time away from their lunch to walk-they truly inspire me to make time in my life to be fit.
Thursday- running group run!

I will be honest, I was not expecting to like the outfit that I would get. I am pretty picky when it comes to the clothes that I workout in.
I like functional and flattering apparel.
I totally squealed when I saw the outfit- the size was on point, the colors were cute and the outfit was functional!
I took a quick jog in my new outfit to make sure it would work for the run, I don’t want to spend time tugging up my crops while I run.
I ended up with a cute pink tank from Lululemon and gray tights from Nike. I love both of those companies and I was more than happy to receive their products!

Now on to the actual run!
Since it was a bit cold out, I threw on a light hoodie for my first night run! How do you like my reflective vest?
I was going to run with a head light but Road Runner Sports was out of them while I was shopping earlier, I am going to see if Target has anything.
So since today was 10-11-12, my coaches wanted us to push ourselves and join a faster group. I am currently in group C and I was nervous about joining group B, however two other people from my group joined in on the fun!
Night running is a bit disorienting, I ran with a lady who had a head lamp so we could see in front of us. However, my coach did something funny to her ankle as she missed a step checking up on us.
I took the run a bit slow and at a conversational pace since we were going to be running non stop. I am so proud to say that I can run 2 miles without having to stop!
Also, my coaches were so nice and supportive in checking up on us during the run- I never felt like I was doing something I was not capable of doing.
Oh and I felt so hardcore running with a reflective vest on, can’t wait to rock a head light next week!

Also, I know you have talked about getting your eyebrows threaded. Do you have any tips for calming redness from the threading the next day?
Honestly, I never get the redness. I think it’s because I have a darker skin complexion? Have you asked the person who does your eyebrows?
