I have to be honest. I have been slacking on the whole breakfast eating deal. It’s usually around 10-11am before I remember to eat something for my first meal of the day. Sometimes even later…
Thankfully, I was recently sent some belVita Breakfast Biscuits to review. Since I don’t always feel like making something elaborate first thing in the morning, it’s nice to have something pre-packaged to munch on.![]()
The belVita Breakfast Biscuits are specially baked to provide steady energy through the morning, in addition to being excellent for dipping in milky tea.
If you have never heard of belvita Breakfast Biscuits it’s because they were
created in France more than a decade ago and are the first of their kind here in the U.S.
I also enjoyed using the biscuits as a topping for my almond milk, kale, banana, apple and orange smoothie.
I was able to sample a wide variety of the belVita Breakfast Biscuits and my favorites would have to be the Chocolate and the Golden Oat. The other flavors included Blueberry,Cinnamon Brown Sugar, and Apple Cinnamon.![]()
Each individual package of 4 crunchy biscuits is portioned for breakfast and provides 18-20 grams of whole grains, 3 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein.
Interested in trying out belVita Breakfast Biscuits? Be sure to include them as part of a balanced breakfast with a serving of lowfat dairy and fruit.
Or if you are like me- enjoy the biscuits as you are rushing off to work, just make sure you wipe the crumbs off your face!

I loved the cinnamon. So yummy, and I like how they’re divided into 4 biscuits. Makes you feel like you’re eating so much more!
Mine were broken up into many different peices so I felt like I was eating a lot :)
I’ve only had the Blueberry flavor and I LOVE it. They’re a perfect blend of cookie with a little healthy nutrition. Great idea to crumble them on top of a smoothie.
I love a little crumble action on top of my smoothies!
I love belVita biscuits dipped in milky tea, too! They are all delicious but apple cinnamon are my firm fave. Smoothies that look like dirt are the tastiest. Nice review!
Haha-smoothies that look like dirt clearly have something going on!
I’ve seen them recently in my grocery store and I’m now convinced to go pick them up. I rush out the door all too often and often opt for a mocha and a way too sweet pastry from Starbucks, I think these will be a great middle ground for a quick bite in the morning.
I have been resorting to a too sweet pastery from SB was well. Have you tried the spinach and feta wrap?
I have, I don’t really love it, I’ll go for the ham, egg and cheese if I want something warm
