For this post I have partnered with Lean Cuisine through DailyBuzz Food to help promote their new line of Chef’s Pick products. I have been compensated for my time commitment to work with this product. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments. Thank you Lean Cuisine! ![]()

With varieties such as Ranchero Braised Beef, Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli and Chile Lime Chicken, Lean Cuisine’s Culinary Collection offers something delicious for every palate.
I want to start off by saying that I can count the number of times that I have eaten a frozen meal on one hand. So I was amazed to see that I could have a ready to eat meal in less than 3 minutes.
The first item I tried from the culinary collection was the deep dish spinach & mushroom pizza. I was not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste.
The pizza was a smaller size than what I was expecting and the taste was light and flavorful.
I did share the slices of the pizza with my parents, so I can’t comment on if I would have felt full from just that pizza. My favorite part was the topping of the pizza, it was creamy without being too rich.
Since, this was a frozen meal- I was expecting the nutritional information to be off the charts. However, I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw.
Next up was the thee cheese stuffed rigatoni- once again in 3 minutes I had a meal ready to eat.
I enjoyed this meal so much that I almost wished for a bigger portion size!
The dish was not overwhelmingly cheesy (which is not a bad thing) but I loved that I tasted so many different vegetables!

Do you eat frozen food? Why or why not?

I love all these pictures!
I tend to avoid frozen food (unless it’s frozen veggies or fruit). I do like the Kashi frozen meals and will make those occasionally. I think the reason I usually stay away is because I tend to feel better when I eat something fresh rather than frozen.
Thanks De! I don’t really eat frozen food as well. But I am glad I had the opportunity to try some out.
I eat a decent amount of frozen food when I work from home, it’s really easy for me to just run to the freezer for lunch especially when I’m really busy. I like having “healthier” options and I’m always searching for decent pizzas to store away in case of emergency.
Have you found a favorite frozen pizza?
I like the Amy’s brand and there’s another one that I tried recently that had a flakey crust, we may have gotten it from TJ’s, that was pretty good. I like to try a lot of different ones.
Did you find that the meals included enough food to fill you up? I tend to find that if I grab a frozen meal I almost need a double portion to not be starving again an hour later.
Great review and great pics, Sana! :)
So I ate both of those meals for dinner ;) I would not be able to just eat one without something else with it.
