10k Training- Week 3

I ran a total of 0 miles last week. I did take 1/2 a Zumba class on Monday and went on a slow 4 mile walk on Thursday. But other than that I spent the week coughing and sniffling. But I am not going to complain a lot happened last week and having a minor cold is nothing to get all bent out of shape about. Instead of moving forward with the plan I am going to spend week 4 doing the workouts for week 3. Some fun notes about not running/spinning for 9 [...] Continue Reading…

10k Training- Week 2

I can’t tell if I am getting sick or if I have allergies. Either way I feel a little crummy at the moment-but I am so excited to write this post. I am [...] Continue Reading…

For the most part of my running journey I have been trying to just get through and stay injury free. I don’t know how many of you have been reading for the past few years- but I have spent the majority of the time that I have blogged being totally sedentary. Prior to the time before I was injured, I was very athletic and enjoyed every minute of it. It was also much easier (I was a tennis [...] Continue Reading…

Can I Run A 10K In Eleven Weeks?

I am having one of these moments where I just love everyone and everything. I appreciate everything in my life- my family, my friends, my health and all that I have been able to experience. The good and the bad. The night before last, I had the worst time falling asleep. This usually happens to me when I have taken a few days off of working out. So I tossed and turned all night knowing that I had a 7am alarm for an 8:30am run. I woke up at 7am and decided to attempt to sleep [...] Continue Reading…
